Provides a variety of member service operations including processing items through various accounts and identifying member's needs by cross-selling the appropriate product or service to meet their financial needs. Ability to perform routine mathematical calculations and use an on-line teller terminal. Must have excellent customer service ability. One year of cashiering experience required, one year bank or credit union teller experience preferred. |

MEMBER SERVICES SPECIALIST (Washington DC) |
Responsible for operating teller window and assisting tellers with balancing. Also, opens new accounts and processes changes on member’s accounts. Performs proper follow-up with members and staff to obtain information to promote Credit Union services. Refers members to appropriate products and services.
Requires 2 years of previous teller and new accounts/closing accounts experience in a financial institution. Knowledge of Credit Union policies and procedures with emphasis on teller and member service areas preferred. |
