How does the CUHERE program work?
USSFCU Members are already eligible to take advantage of the program – a network of surcharge-free ATMs. You can look for the CU HERE or Allpoint logo on any ATM, or can find nearby locations with the Service Locator.
What is a surcharge?
Surcharges are fees charged to consumers withdrawing cash from ATMs, and are used to cover the cost of providing and maintaining ATMs. Financial institutions generally only apply surcharges to non-customers who withdraw money from their ATMs.
What are your ATM fees?

There is no USSFCU fee for ATM service at any of the Senate and Wright Patman Congressional FCU ATM locations, located conveniently throughout Capitol Hill.

If a member has Senate Checking and uses a card at a non-USSFCU ATM during a calendar month, the first four of these transactions are free - afterwards there is a $1.00 per transaction for the remainder of that month for each additional transaction at a non-USSFCU ATM. However, if a member has Gold Source Checking there is no charge for any additional transactions.

USSFCU belongs to various ATM networks which provide access to funds throughout the world. These non-USSFCU institutions may elect to impose a local service fee for the use of their ATMs, which is separate from the fee noted above. However, using an ATM designated as Credit Union 24/CU Here will avoid this additional charge.

Also, there is no local servcie fee for ATM service available Downtown at the United States General Accounting Office, at the Postal Square Building, and in the Maryland and Virginia suburbs at the Credit Union Family Service Centers.

How do I report a lost Visa Check Card?
Members may contact the Credit Union during business hours to report a lost or stolen card. After hours, weekends or holidays, members may report lost or stolen cards by calling 1 (800) 682-6075 or collect at (206) 352-3482.
Can I choose my own PIN?

Yes, the PIN is assigned when the card is issued but can be changed by visiting one of our branches.

Why does my check card get declined when I purchase over the phone or the Internet?

This can happen for a number of reasons.

Sometimes a member may lose track of the balance in his or her checking account and inadvertently try to make a payment for more than the account balance. Also, one of the Senate Check Card safeguards is a purchaser address match - if the address submitted by the merchant does not match the address encoded for your card, this may be a sign of an illegal transaction.
