2025 Holiday Donations - Blue Ridge Area Food Bank (Verona, VA)

The United States Senate Federal Credit Union (USSFCU) is pleased to announce our $10,000 donation to Blue Ridge Area Food Bank in Verona, VA.
Blue Ridge Area Food Bank, a partner of Feeding America, is the largest hunger-relief organization in central and western Virginia – serving 25 counties and 8 cities along the Blue Ridge. The Food Bank serves the area through a network of more than 400 community partners like food panties, soup kitchens, shelters, and program sites from its four central warehouses in Verona, Winchester, Charlottesville, and Lynchburg.
1 in 9 individuals living in the Blue Ridge region suffer from food insecurity and the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank network serves an average of 171,200 people every month. With USSFCU’s donation of $10,000, Blue Ridge Area Food Bank will be able to provide more than 30,000 meals to those in need.
