Reward points are only earned on signature-based transactions. Not all transactions qualify for reward points, such as cash advances, balance transfers and PIN-based transactions.
Merchants may process signature debit card transactions as PIN-based transactions even if a PIN was not provided; these transactions would not qualify. USSFCU is not responsible for the processing method selected by the merchants. Not all merchants will participate in the reward points program.

Utilities including Electric, Gas, Water, and Sanitary. Tax Payments, Government Services, Government Postal Services. Air and Ground Courier Services, Fuel Dealers – Fuel Oil, Wood, Coal, and Liquefied Petroleum.
Financial Institution Transactions including Automated Cash Disbursements and ATM Transactions, Financial Institutions – Merchandise and Services includeing transactions representing the transferring of value to a stored value card. Merchandise purchases also include the purchase of checks, other financial products, or promotional merchandise. Services may include deposits, the funding of an account, Visa Money Transfer Original Credit Transaction, purchase of foreign currency, money order and travelers cheques, loan fees or financial counseling service fees. Mortgage loan payments and real estate purchases. Non-Financial Institutions – Foreign Currency, Money Orders, Wire Transfers, Stored Value Card Purchase/Load, and Travelers Cheques.
