The Capitol Hill Competition will once again be a part of the Credit Union Cherry Blossom Ten Mile Run in 2013, thanks to the generous support of the United States Senate FCU, Congressional Federal Credit Union, the National Association of Federal Credit Unions (NAFCU) and the Credit Union National Association (CUNA). So circle your calendars, start training and organize your teams.
Race day is Sunday, April 7, 2013.

Here are five important points:
- Online registration is now closed.
- Capitol Hill team competition is for Capitol Hill employees only. Interns are eligible. The only exceptions are for the spouse or family members of a Member of Congress on either the House or Senate side.
- All participants in this year’s race must be able to complete 10 miles in less than two hours and twenty minutes (net time), a 14-minute-per-mile pace. We have a 5K Run-Walk designed for those who wish to participate at a more leisurely pace. You will be able to select an option to participate in the 5K Run-Walk during the Capitol Hill Registration process. There is no team competition in the 5K Run-Walk.
- Thanks to the Senate and House credit unions we will have packet pick-up for Capitol Hill individual runners and Capitol Hill team members available on Thursday, April 4 in the U.S. Capitol Building, Capitol Visitor Center, Room 201B from 11:am to 2:00pm.
