Abra-Kadabra-Alakazam! It's Bring Your Kids to Work Day with USSFCU!
Published: April 23, 2026
National Bring Your Kids to Work Day has returned to the Senate Office Buildings and the United States Senate Federal Credit Union (USSFCU) joined Senate Moms and various organizations to give staffers’ children a warm welcome to the day. This annual day is celebrated every year on the fourth Thursday of April and thousands of workplaces across the United States participate to encourage children to take an interest in future career and education possibilities.
USSFCU did not disappoint – hosting the “Capitol Kids’ Gift Shop” once again, allowing the children to practice their money counting and budgeting skills with purchases from their play-money coin pouches for items such as piggy banks, stuffed animal eagle keychains, and educational coloring books. Parents received information on youth savings accounts and credit union benefits for new and existing members.
The Credit Union additionally sponsored five-time winner of the “DC Magician of the Year” Noland the Magician to the children’s cheers and delight. Following the excitement of Noland’s magic show, the children wound down with kid-friendly yoga and story-time readings led by Senators Gallego and Duckworth.
The Senate’s Bring Your Kids to Work Day was a wonderful success with over 120 families in attendance and we thank our volunteers and all the families present for making this event possible.
