USSFCU Business Share Certificates offers a variety of options, each with a unique term and interest rate.
- Higher returns than savings accounts
- Competitive rates
- Fixed rates for length of term
- Terms range from 3 months to 5 years
- Additional deposits permitted at maturity
- Early withdrawal penalties apply*
- $1,000 minimum deposit to open
APY = Annual Percentage Yield. Certificate rates are subject to change without notice. To qualify, certificates must be opened with “New Money.” “New Money” is defined as money not currently on deposit with United States Senate Federal Credit Union within the last 12 months. Money withdrawn from United States Senate Federal Credit Union, then redeposited within a 12-month period from the date of withdrawal, does not qualify as “New Money.”
The minimum balance required to open a 36-month share certificate special is $1,000. A 36-month term share certificate special with a minimum balance of less than $20,000 will earn 3.75% APY. A 36-month term special share certificate with a balance of $99,999 plus will earn 3.75% APY. You must maintain a minimum daily balance of $1,000.00 in your account each day to obtain the disclosed annual percentage yield. You will earn dividends for every day during the period that your account equals or exceeds the minimum daily balance requirement. The APY assumes dividends will remain on deposit until maturity. The dividend period on your account begins from the date that your account is opened and ends on the maturity date, unless renewed. Member has 10 days from maturity to make changes with no penalty.
