Located at the corner of N. West St. and Madison St. in the Braddock Metro neighborhood of Old Town Alexandria is USSFCU's Bowman Branch at Braddock Station. Your new corner credit union is a modern, state-of-the-art branch conveniently located adjacent to the Braddock Metro Station in USSFCU's new Bertie H. Bowman headquarters building. Hours of Operation:
- 10:00 am - 4:00 pm; Monday - Friday - Extended hours are now in effect as of June 2: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Free parking is available in the Braddock Metro Center Garage.
- Use "1330 Braddock Place" as the address to navigate to the garage.
- The entrance to the garage is located on the right as you enter the roundabout.
- Park in the "1310" green section.
- Follow the blue signs for the Credit Union once you are in the garage.
- Parking validation tickets are available in the branch.

Getting There
The Bowman Branch is located on the first floor of the Bertie H. Bowman Building adjacent to the Braddock Road Metro Station. To better plan your visit, please carefully read the instructions below.

While it is possible to find street-level parking, it is recommended that you park in the Braddock Metro Center Garage. Parking with validation is available.
To ensure you arrive at the correct location within the complex, please use the address below when traveling.

(USSFCU is building 1310, but directions to this location will take you to the corner of N. West and Madison St. and not the garage parking area.)
- Upon entering the garage, follow the signs for “1310” and park in the green section.
- Press the red button on the intercom to the right of the door. Let security know that you are visiting the branch.
- After entering the building, take the elevator to the first floor. The Bowman Branch is around the corner on your left.
- Parking with validation is available.

Who Can Join?

Please note: per internal policy, USSFCU only offers services to U.S. Citizens and U.S. Permanent Residents holding a non-conditional Green Card.

- You’re an immediate family or household member of a current USSFCU member
(e.g., spouse, parent, child, sibling, grandparent, step-relative, or anyone living in the same household)
No SEG? No problem!
You can still become a member by joining the USSFCU Foundation—an official path to membership.
How to join through the Foundation:
- Make a minimum $10 donation to the USSFCU Foundation
- Download the receipt or save your confirmation email
- Upload the receipt when completing your USSFCU membership application

How Do I Join?
The easiest way to join USSFCU is to apply online. You can also visit one of our branches to apply in person, or call 800.374.2758 to begin your application by phone.
You will need to open a Primary Savings Account with a minimum of $5 and pay the one-time-only membership fee of $1 to secure your membership with us. When submitting your USSFCU application please have the following information ready; name, address, date of birth, and at least one valid form of identification (photo ID, passport, etc.).
If you're joining through USSFCU Foundation, American Consumer Council or US Capitol Historical Society, please complete that membership before submitting your USSFCU application.

Things you will need to complete the application

Valid Color ID (Driver's License, Passport, Military ID card) must be in pdf or jpg format

If ID does not provide a current address, please provide a form of address verification (utility bill, paycheck stub, etc.) must be in pdf or jpg format
- Paystub or membership document from your Selectct Employee Group
- If you are joining through the U.S. Capitol Historical Society (USCHS), please provide a copy of the emailed receipt
- If you are joining through the American Consumer Council - Virginia Chapter (VACC), please provide a copy of the emailed certificate

- Account funding (Credit Card or Debit Card)
- USING A CREDIT CARD TO FUND YOUR ACCOUNT IS PROCESSED AS A CASH ADVANCE AND COULD RESULT IN A CASH ADVANCE FEE FROM YOUR CREDIT CARD PROVIDER FOR EACH TRANSACTION. WE RECOMMEND FUNDING YOUR ACCOUNT USING A DEBIT CARD TO AVOID THESE POTENTIAL FEES FROM YOUR CREDIT CARD PROVIDER.
