Sustainable Commutes, Sustainable Finances: USSFCU at Bike to Work Day 2026

May 15, 2026 marked the 25th annual Bike to Work Day in Washington, DC – an event designed to encourage commuters to explore healthier and more sustainable ways to get to work. Whether you’re a first-time rider or bicycling is your primary mode of transportation, with over 100 pit stop locations across the DMV, riders enjoyed refreshments, giveaways, and connections with local businesses.

The United States Senate Federal Credit Union (USSFCU) stopped by the Eastern Market Metro Plaza to engage with these commuters with giveaways, hydration, and information about the credit union. With membership eligibility open to the public through the USSFCU Foundation, commuters learned of USSFCU’s dedication to our member and community’s financial wellness through sustainable financial solutions, education, and empowerment.
