Celebrating Our Nurses: Senate Nurse Appreciation 2026

The United States Senate Federal Credit Union stopped by the Office of the Attending Physician to celebrate the nurses and recognize the invaluable contributions they make towards the health and wellbeing of Capitol Hill staff.

International Nurses Day is celebrated globally on May 12, honoring the birth of Florence Nightingale - recognized as the founder of modern nursing. This year's theme for International Nurses Day is "Our Nurses. Our Future. Empowered Nurses Save Lives."

Thank you again to the nurses on Capitol Hill as well as to every nurse who work tirelessly and compassionately in our lives.
