If you're a member of USSFCU, you're likely familiar with our commitment to prioritizing members. One excellent demonstration of this is our active participation in the CO-OP Solutions shared branch network. This network enables collaboration among credit unions nationwide, allowing USSFCU members to access in-person services at various locations across the country. In this article, we'll explore the advantages of shared branching and how it can benefit you.

Understanding Shared Branching:

In essence, shared branching means that USSFCU, as part of the CO-OP Solutions network, facilitates its members to perform transactions at other credit union branches seamlessly. Members can use over 30,000 surcharge-free ATMs and 5,600 shared branch locations nationwide, treating them as if they were their local credit union.

USSFCU's Participation:

While USSFCU excels in addressing members' needs remotely, there are instances when physical branch services are essential. Participation in the CO-OP shared branch network expands our physical presence, ensuring you have access to in-person banking services wherever you go.

Services at Shared Branch Locations:

You can accomplish nearly everything you would at a USSFCU branch at a shared location, such as depositing or withdrawing funds, transferring money between accounts, and requesting cashier's checks for purchases. If you have specific transaction queries, contact our call center at 800.374.2758 before visiting a partner branch.

Transaction Requirements:

Transactions at shared branch locations mirror those at USSFCU. Provide the personal banker with:

  • A government-issued photo ID.
  • The name of your credit union (USSFCU).
  • Account number(s) for the intended transactions. Maintain a transaction receipt for your records.
