A Wheel Good Time: Bike to Work Day 2025

May 15, 2025, was Bike to Work Day in Washington, DC, an event designed to promote the benefits of bicycling to work as a healthy and safe alternative to driving alone.

USSFCU dropped by the Eastern Market Metro Plaza to engage the cyclist commuters with giveaways, hydration, and information about the credit union including the many paths to membership. USSFCU membership eligibility extends beyond Senate Staffers and our five core Select Employment Groups (SEG) to over 100 additional employer groups nationwide and as well as public eligibility through membership with the VACC or USCHS. We highlighted the benefits of joining USSFCU as a non-profit, member-owned credit union such as our eliminated and reduced fees, lower loan interest rates, and dedication to member service as well as our commitment to community through financial education with our Weekly Wednesday Webinars, and GreenPath Financial Wellness and Banzai! Best Life partnerships.
