Keeping Financial Wellness in Rhythm: USSFCU at the USCP Health & Wellness Fair 2025
Published: June 5, 2025

On June 5 the United States Senate Federal Credit Union danced up to the United States Capitol Police Health & Wellness Fair with Zumba, fun giveaways, and information on the credit union to support our capitol officer’s financial wellness. As one of our core Select Employment Groups we strive to support the agency with a whole-image view.
We engaged not only our officers’ bodies with smooth grooves, but also their minds with a fun quiz on the agency’s history from which incident led to the formation of the department* to the name and year in which the first African American policewoman was sworn into the department^.
After taking care of their physical and trivia wellbeing, we spoke with attendees about their financial health and the many avenues USSFCU can support them from: financial education online or in-office, retirement planning, advisory services, and the many other benefits of credit union membership from our low loan rates to eliminated fees.
