From Capitol Hill to the Baseball Mound: USSFCU at the Congressional Baseball Game 2025
Published: June 11, 2025

Baseball – America’s past-time, kick-off to summer, and great unifier brought together both sides of the aisle on June 11 with the Congressional Baseball Game for Charity. Since 1909 members of Congress have picked up their caps and hit the field to raise funds for charities and scholarships in the Washington, DC area and the United States Senate Federal Credit Union supports this endeavor in major league sponsorship.
Held at the Nationals Park just south of the Capitol buildings, USSFCU helped to welcome a record-breaking 30,000+ attendees to the ballpark with fun giveaways and enthusiasm. Together, the Congressional Sports for Charity program and its sponsors raised over $2.75 million to support local vulnerable and at-risk youth and families, truly embodying a core virtue of the credit union with “Better Together”.
