A Paws-itively Fun Time: ALX Dog Walk 2026

The annual ALX Dog Walk returned this year with a dual mission -- promoting plastic-free and sustainable living AND animal welfare by partnering with the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria (AWLA).

The United States Senate Federal Credit Union (USSFCU) was pleased to join the sponsor pack for this community-focused event in which the proceeds will go on to support ALX Dog Walk's year-round sustainability education efforts and AWLA's work for Alexandria's animals. The event didn't end at the walk finish line, though -- a doggie fashion show emceed by Monte Durham of "Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta" fame had pups dressed to the nines in their finest wedding wear. The beautiful morning ended with plenty of pats, wags, and over $30,000 raised for two fantastic causes.
