Lending?s New Sock Donation Drive

Over 200 Pairs of New Socks Collected!

This December USSFCU’s lending team hosted a new sock donation drive in support of the children, women and men of the Carpenters’ Shelter. New socks of all colors and sizes were collected through December and donated to the Carpenters Shelter of Alexandria, Virginia.

The Carpenter’s Shelter serves over 750 local homeless and formerly homeless children and adults each year. Their mission is to support the homeless in achieving sustainable independence through shelter, guidance, education and advocacy.
