The Guards vs. The Mean Machine
Published: September 20, 2019
This Tuesday, U.S. Capitol Police Square-off against Members of Congress and former NFL players in the 2019 Congressional Football Game for Charity.
Started in 2004, the Congressional Football Game was first organized to honor and support the men and women of the U.S. Capitol Police and the families of fallen officers.
The game is a family-friendly event that includes entertainment and spirited competition on the field, while bringing together Congressional and law enforcement communities in support of worthy causes.
This year’s game will take place Tuesday, September 24 at Hotchkiss Field in Washington, DC., and will benefit three Washington nonprofits, The Capitol Police Memorial Fund, Our Military Kids and A Advantage 4 Kids.
